Stassney
Dr. Dam Hee Jang
D.D.S.
Dr. Dam Hee Jang was born in Seoul, South Korea, but was raised in our good neighbors to the north. Not Oklahoma, but Canada! After receiving his bachelor’s degree in Biology from York University in Toronto, he came down to the states to study dentistry. He attended New York University College of Dentistry where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and kept moving south.Dr. Jang and his wife (who is also a dentist) moved out to rural West Texas to help out some underserved areas with their skills before settling down in Central Texas.
Dr. Jang’s interest in dentistry stems from his passion for working with his hands to solve problems, and the opportunity to build lasting relationships with his patients. He also enjoys helping others improve their smile and overall oral health.
In his free time, Dr. Jang can be found reading, traveling or practicing photography. He is also a huge NBA basketball fan!

Dr. June Choi
D.D.S.
Before excelling in her profession and thoroughly providing her patients with comprehensive dental evaluation/diagnosis, treatment, and education, Dr. June Choi attended the New York University College of Dentistry, where she achieved Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. As a student dentist at NYUCD and associate general dentist at Familia Dental, she organized and coordinated complex treatment plans with various specialists, including oral surgeons, periodontists, endodontists, pediatric dentists, oral-facial pain, and oral medicine. Dr. Choi is also well versed in creating alternative treatment plans to customize each treatment plan to each patient. She is looking forward to making connections with her patients while growing as a clinician.

Dr. Daniel Im
D.D.S.
Dr. Im was born in Seoul, South Korea and came to the United States when he was 10 years old. He spent his younger years in Coral Springs, FL until attending college at Emory University where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC in Los Angeles, CA. Dr. Im then served in the U.S. Navy for five years, which included a year in General Practice Residency at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD. The remaining time was spent serving as a General Dentist at Naval Hospital Pensacola. He has served countless military personnel over the years, and has found it highly rewarding to be able to make an immediate and positive difference to their wellbeing.
He is happy to now be serving the greater Austin area and making long-term ties with his patients and the community.Dr. Im is also a member of Academy of General Dentistry, Korean American Dental Association and International Association of Dental Research.
Dr. Im is happily married to his wife, Jennifer since 2013. They have a pet shih tzu, who is your best friend as long as you give him treats.
In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf and basketball, as well as going on adventures with his wife.

Dr. Laura Maxey
D.D.S.
Dr. Laura Maxey attended Texas A&M University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering. She went on to attend UT Health San Antonio School of Dentistry where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Maxey is passionate about helping people and being hands on, and she chose to study dentistry because it’s a perfect blend of the two. She loves making her patients feel heard and cared for while helping them back to health.
Outside of the office, Dr. Maxey loves to hike with her sister and their dogs. She has one cat and a very hyper puppy! She’s looking forward to meeting new people in the area and exploring Austin.

Dr. Faryaal Shamsi
D.D.S.
Dr. Faryaal "Fay" Shamsi, DDS earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of California at Los Angeles. Dentistry is her passion, and she loves building relationships with people.
Dr. Shamsi strives to put all her patients at ease and strongly believes in preventing dental issues above all. She always keeps abreast with new advances in dentistry, to provide the most up-to-date care.
Outside of the office, Dr. Fay and her husband enjoy hiking and exploring new places in the Austin area. She also likes to try new cuisines and make handmade gifts for friends and family!

Dr. Tiffany Ngo
Dr. Tiffany Ngo was born and raised in Orange County, California. She attended UC Berkeley for her undergraduate studies and Tufts University in Boston for her dental degree.
With additional training in the Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency, she specialized in comprehensive dental care, covering all aspects of dentistry and hopes to continue to promote exceptional oral health.
Her professional skills have never failed to provide quality care, delivering a comfortable patient experience for all. She strives to make patients more confident and happy about their smiles while motivating them to improve their oral health. She also enjoys giving back to people and has done dental mission trips in Honduras and Haiti.
She recently moved to Austin, Texas to experience a new adventure with her husband and is excited to help the community here.
In her free time, she enjoys cooking, playing tennis, and hiking with her husband. They are also on the hunt for the best tacos in Austin, so please feel free to share your favorite ones!

Dr. Laura Binder
A Corpus Christi native and UT Austin alum, Dr. Binder graduated from the UT Health School of Dentistry at Houston in 2021. Her senior year, she earned the International College of Dentists Student Leadership Award. She then completed a General Practice Residency at UNC Chapel Hill’s Adams School of Dentistry, where she treated veterans at the Durham VA, practiced hospital dentistry, and worked alongside oral surgeons in the dental school’s outpatient clinic.
Dr. Binder comes from a family of dentists (she’s dentist number 5!) and is thrilled to be part of a profession that can have lasting impacts on patients’ health, wellbeing, and self-confidence. Dr. Binder believes in providing high quality, personalized treatment that aligns with each patient’s oral health needs and goals. When she’s not creating smiles, Dr. Binder loves doing yoga, working on her latest knitting project, and baking up a storm.
Dr. Binder is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Academy of General Dentists, and the American Association of Dental Editors and Journalists.

Dr. Rebecca Rightmer
Dr. Rightmer is passionate about providing comfortable and personalized dental care. After completing her dental training at the University of Pittsburgh, she further honed her skills through advanced residency training at Allegheny General Hospital. She specializes in helping patients get relief from dental pain, offering services like root canals, extractions, and dental implants.
Growing up in Taiwan and moving to the U.S. as a teenager, Dr. Rightmer is fluent in both English and Mandarin. This helps her connect with a wide range of patients and ensures clear communication with those who may prefer speaking in Mandarin.
Before becoming a dentist, Dr. Rightmer studied biomedical engineering at Rice University, where she earned top awards for her research. Her engineering background helps her take a detailed, problem-solving approach to dental care, always looking for the best solutions for her patients’ needs.
Dr. Rightmer has a deep commitment to staying up to date with the latest advances in dentistry. She regularly attends study clubs and workshops to ensure she can offer her patients the highest standard of care. She believes that understanding each patient's unique story and their comfort level with dental treatments is key to providing the best care possible.
Outside of the office, Dr. Rightmer enjoys exploring Austin’s outdoor beauty, kayaking on Lady Bird Lake, listening to live music, and spending time with her family. She’s also dedicated to giving back through volunteer work, both locally and internationally.

Dr. Shahrzad Embry
D.D.S.
Dr. Shahrzad Embry is a Doctor of Dental Surgery with over three decades of experience in general, cosmetic, and implant dentistry. She completed her undergraduate studies in Organic Chemistry at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and earned her DDS from the University of Southern California. Dr. Embry has pursued extensive advanced training in oral implantology, including All-on-4 treatment, sinus augmentation, bone grafting, and conscious sedation, enabling her to provide comprehensive implant care from surgery through final restoration.
Throughout her career, Dr. Embry has served as a managing dentist, private practice owner, and traveling implant surgeon, performing thousands of implant procedures across a wide range of clinical settings. She is widely recognized for her clinical expertise as well as her leadership and mentorship, regularly training and guiding other dentists in diagnosis, treatment planning, quality of care, and patient communication. Her approach combines advanced clinical skill with a strong commitment to patient education, comfort, and long-term oral health.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Embry is a devoted wife, mother to a daughter and a son, along with a bernadoodle named Brodie. Her family life plays an important role in shaping her patient-centered philosophy, emphasizing empathy, honesty, and clear communication. She is committed to creating a welcoming, respectful environment where patients feel understood, supported, and confident in their care.

Dr. Ryan Weber
Oral Surgeon
Dr. Weber is a Texas native, born and raised in north Austin before venturing to Waco for college. Drawn to the intersection of medicine, dentistry, and anesthesia, Dr. Weber chose to become an oral and maxillofacial surgeon. He received extensive training in various aspects of oral surgery. Dr. Weber has been published in a variety of medical journals and has presented at national meetings on orthognathic and cleft lip surgeries, as well as the emergence of virtual technology applications in surgery.
After some time away, he returned to Central Texas and has been providing quality oral surgery services to the Austin area and its surrounding communities ever since.
Dr. Weber received his bachelor’s in biology from Baylor University in 2008. In 2015, he graduated from the University of Texas School of Dentistry. He then attended the University of Mississippi School of Medicine before completing his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at its medical center in 2021.
Outside of the practice, Dr. Weber enjoys playing guitar, hitting the green, and spending time with his children.

Dr. Christina Aponte
Orthodontist
Dr. Christina Aponte is an orthodontist known for her personalized care and commitment to helping patients achieve beautiful, healthy smiles. She completed her orthodontic residency at BronxCare Health System in New York City, where she received advanced training in modern orthodontic techniques, including clear aligners and fixed bracket systems.
Dr. Aponte earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Meharry Medical College and holds a bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences from the University at Buffalo. Her strong academic background and passion for oral health have made the journey as enjoyable as the results.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Aponte is dedicated to creating an inclusive, welcoming environment where every patient feels comfortable and confident throughout their orthodontic journey.
Outside of the office, she enjoys attending improv and stand-up comedy shows and is an enthusiastic supporter of her favorite sports teams, the Buffalo Bills and the New York Yankees.
